Doug Clark’s $10,000 300 Challenge

GENERAL RULES

All competitors are given 14 days to complete the challenge and submit a recorded, FULLY UNCUT video by March 17, 2018 at 6:00PM EST. All videos must feature a time clock prominently on the left side of the screen. The time to beat is 7 minutes and 42 seconds. Video must be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo with the title, “Doug Clark’s 300 Challenge”. Video links must then be submitted using the form below.

Exercises to be completed in back-to-back succession are:

    1. Twenty Five (25) Pull-ups
    2. Fifty (50) Deadlifts, 135 lbs.
    3. Fifty (50) Push-Ups
    4. Fifty (50) Jump-Ups
    5. Fifty (50) Windshield Wipers, 225 lbs.
    6. Fifty (50) Flip Press, 35 lbs.
    7. Twenty Five (25) Pull-ups

Failure to complete any of the exercises outlined in these rules, will result in forfeit. All exercises must be attempted and completed in challenge sequence before the Competitor may move to another exercise.

The first competitor of the 300 Challenge to complete the challenge under 7 minutes and 42 seconds will be flown to Alpha Elite at a later date to validate their time in person. Only the time completed in person will validate the winner. 300 Challenge personnel and Cardillo Weightbelts reserves the right to change the standings or decisions indefinitely after the event, in case of unintentional or malicious breaking of the rules, including but not limited to, cheating due to video editing or speeding up of the video submission, or failing to complete the required reps for each exercise after further review.

DISCLAIMER

Always consult your physician before beginning or joining any fitness challenge, especially Doug Clark’s 300 Challenge. If you experience any pain or difficulty during this challenge or with any exercises, stop and consult your healthcare provider immediately. Contact your physician if you experience any symptoms of weakness, unsteadiness, light-headedness or dizziness, chest pain or pressure, nausea, or shortness of breath. Mild to severe soreness after exercise may be experienced after the challenge. Contact your physician if the soreness does not improve after 2-3 days.


TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By attempting the challenge, you expressly agree on behalf of yourself, heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, that the company and its insurers, employees, officers, directors, and associates, shall not be liable for any damages arising from personal injuries (including death) sustained by you, or as a result of the use of the equipment used for the challenge. You accept and assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, damages (both economic and non-economic), and losses of any type, which may occur to you, and hereby fully and forever release and discharge the company, its insurers, employees, officers, directors, and associates, from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, or causes of action, present or future, whether the same be known or unknown, anticipated, or unanticipated, resulting from or arising out the attempt to complete the challenge.

By attempting the challenge, you expressly agree to indemnify and hold the company harmless against any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, or causes of action, of any person or entity, that may arise from injuries or damages sustained by you or individuals with you during the challenge attempt.

You agree to be solely responsible for safety and well-being of yourself. You understand that the company does not provide supervision, instruction, or assistance during the challenge attempt.

You understand and acknowledge that the use of exercise equipment involves risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death.

You understand and acknowledge that it is your responsibility to know and understand the rules for the challenge and for each specific exercise. If you do not understand a specific rule, it is up to you to contact challenge personnel before attempting to complete the challenge.

Any verbal or written instructions given in e-mails and on social media by employees of Cardillo Weightbelts will not supersede rules on this page.

The promoter hereby reserves all rights to determine the validity of each attempt by any contestant participating in this challenge. The quality, validity and viability of each attempt is within the sole discretion of the promoter, without any right of appeal. The contestant agrees and accepts that by his/her participation he/she acknowledges that the promoter is the exclusive person to determine if the challenge has been fulfilled and any rights to contest the determination of the promoter are hereby waived.
